UK Music Orgs Condemn NEH Cuts and their Effect on the AMS
RMA, Conservatoires UK, and Music Mark Support the AMS!
On 15 April 2025, the Royal Musical Association (RMA), Conservatoires UK, and Music Mark released a statement condemning the cancellation of all four (4) of the American Musicological Society’s National Endowment for the Humanities’ (NEH) active, duly awarded grants. With the summary termination of those grants, the AMS lost $363,000 in anticipated income over the next two years.
