Purpose
The American Musicological Society (AMS) administers scores of grant, award, fellowship and event programs, and sponsors fifteen (15) regional chapters and twenty-two (22) thematic study group. To support and document these activities, the Society has created a number of policies, reports and best practices documents to govern and guide the work of the roughly 350 volunteers that help administer AMS programs each year. Below are links to the archives of such documents. They are provided here to support the work of AMS volunteers and ensure easy access to organizational information and rules governing reporting, conflict of interest, governance reporting, etc.
Document Types
- Policies: These documents record AMS procedures and restrictions pertaining to common situations encountered by the Society’s volunteers and affiliates.
- Reports: These documents provide annual and biennial reports on Society finances and activities, and include financial statements, program activity reports, donor updates, and similar documents.
