Judd Fund Campaign Approaches Its Goal!
The American Musicological Society (AMS) is pleased to publish a Campaign Update on the Society’s Robert F. Judd
Fund Campaign and its progress toward the goal of raising $1 million.
In fall 2019, the AMS Board of Directors honored Bob Judd’s remarkable legacy by naming the position of executive director after him and establishing a fund in his memory to partially endow that position and provide ongoing funds in support
of AMS Operations. Revenue from the Robert F. Judd Fund supports the executive director position and helps ensure a robust future for the Society that Bob worked so hard to build.
A strong initial response to the launch of the R. F. Judd Fund in the first three years of the campaign brought us two-thirds of the way to our goal in 2022, when the last campaign update was published. The years since have been slower going, but we are pleased to announce
that the AMS is close to achieving its $1 million goal. Thanks to hundreds of donors and their generous contributions, pledges, and estate plans, the Society is just over $38,000 short of that goal. Help us get the rest of the way!
