William Weber, 1940–2024

The AMS is sad to announce that former AMS Vice President, William Weber, passed away in 2024.

Weber had a distinguished teaching career at California State University, Long Beach until his retirement in 2007, and his research focused on the development of concert life in nineteenth-century Europe.
