Donate The American Musicological Society is sad to announce that former AMS member David Brian Huron passed away on 5 June 2025 in Benicia, California from cancer. David was the head of the Cognitive and Systematic Musicology Laboratory at The Ohio State University for 22 years before retiring in 2019. He previously taught at Conrad Grebel College and the University of Waterloo.
