Subscriptions

The print subscription to Journal of the American Musicological Society (JAMS) includes a subscription to the AMS Newsletter (published twice a year, Feb. and Aug.) and the AMS Directory (published each Feb.). An 'Electronic Only' subscription is also available but this does not include the Newsletter or Directory. All issues of the AMS Newsletter (from 1971 to present) are available at the AMS Newsletter Archive. An online Directory is available to AMS members.

To subscribe, follow this link. Each calendar year subscription includes three issues of JAMS, plus two issues of the AMS Newsletter and the AMS Directory.

Publication schedule:

The Journal of the American Musicological Society (ISSN 0003-0139) is published three times a year: Spring, Summer, and Fall. For up-to-the-minute journal publication-schedule information, follow this link.

The AMS Newsletter (ISSN 0402-012X) is published twice a year: February and August. All back issues of the AMS Newsletter are available online at no charge.

(The LGBTQ Newsletter is published independently. Contact the AMS office for further information.)
