Cesar Favila Awarded for Book Project

Cesar Favila (UCLA) has been awarded the Society for American Music Adrienne Fried Block Fellowship, a Franklin Research Grant from the American Philosophical Society, and a University of California Humanities Research Institute Underrepresented Scholars Grant for the book project titled, “Immaculate Sounds: The Musical Lives of Nuns in New Spain.”
