Gabriel Solis receives NEH grant

Gabriel Solis (University of Illinois) has received an NEH Cooperative Agreements and Special Projects (Digital Humanities) grant for a project titled, "New Directions in Digital Jazz Studies: Music Information Retrieval and AI Support for Jazz Scholarship in Digital Archives." The grant will support the development of artificial intelligence and music information retrieval tools and archival workflows to enhance access to archival jazz collections, including those held by the US Institute of Jazz Studies and the Scottish Jazz Archive.
