Music, Sound, & Trauma Study Group Informal Interest Session, 5-6pm Friday
Jill Rogers and Erin Brooks will be hosting a very informal interest session for a Music, Sound, and Trauma Study Group (which we are preparing to propose to the AMS) on Friday, November 1st from 5 to 6pm. We'd like to let you know our plans, and also--and more importantly!--hear from you about your interests in music, sound, and trauma, how you'd like a group like this to function, and what you'd like it to address.
We haven't booked a room, but we will post an update here on Thursday once we have a better idea of the Westin's set-up; we'll likely meet in the café/bar/lobby area of the hotel, but we'll keep you posted.
If you're not attending the AMS meeting but you'd still like to talk with us about an AMS study group devoted to music, sound, and trauma, please don't hesitate to email one of us at rogersjc@indiana.edu or brooksem@potsdam.edu. If you're attending AMS but can't make the 5-6pm Friday informal interest session, feel free to email us or pull one of us aside during the conference.
