Antonia Banducci, 1945–2024

The AMS regrets to announce the passing of Antonia Banducci on 4 November 2024.

Banducci was a professor of musicology at the University of Denver for 27 years before her retirement in 2021. She was a scholar of seventeenth-century opera and received accolades for her work on the music of Jean-Baptiste Lully (1632-1687).
